Has your citrus tree ever been infested with aphids? If so, you know how important it is to take action before losing your tree. Are chemical insecticides and pesticides not your thing? Don't worry, I get it. While researching for all natural ways to control pests in the garden, I only found myself reading crazy ideas that seemed too far out . (For example: Going out in the middle of the night with a head lamp, looking like a night stalker, was not happening). Some just seemed too costly or not enough resources around to pull it off. While others seemed a little bit more realistic, the concoctions were pretty in-depth and then there were the ones that you could make BUT it could also take out the beneficial bugs, so then your left wondering...what are my other options?! If you research electrolyzed reduced water on either pubmed or google scholar you will come across a bunch of articles related to using the strong pH water to kill mold, mildew, pests etc. from pre-harvest to post-harvest. So, I took it upon myself to give it a try. Besides, what's the worst that could possibly happen to this tree that is already being invaded.

I did an experiment using water I have access to through the machine. Spraying 2.5 pH (Strong Acidic water) all underneath the leaves until it was well saturated. It was about 4 hours later when the tree got checked on. You will be amazed at the results, in that short period of time all the aphids died. The last pic shows the aphids dead, there was no more movement anywhere on that tree. Stay tuned to see what happens with this citrus tree.
